Bella is one of our lovely customers at the Dyslexia Action Shop. Hear what she has to say about her experience with the shop!
Tell us a bit about yourself!
I’m Bella MacLaren and I work at King Edwards IV School in Aston as a Specialist Teacher with Exam Access Arrangements Co-ordination and also as a Self-employed assessor mainly for a few schools and Birmingham Adult Education doing their Access Arrangements too.
When did you first order from the Dyslexia Action Shop?
I used to work for Dyslexia Action as a centre manager/ deputy area manager/National adult co-ordinator so 2006 through my role and in around 2014 through my self-employed role when sadly Dyslexia Action centres went into administration.
What do you like best about the shop?
They stock all the key assessments that I need, they have great communication and they are very reliable.
What do you typically buy in the shop?
Test materials and occasionally literacy resources.
Do you have a favourite or preferred product in the shop?
Test Materials – CTOPP 2, TOMAL 2 and WJIV Achievement credits.
How has the product(s) helped you in your school/setting/private practice?
They are fundamental to me being able to do my roles and meet the needs and requirements of the students and the awarding bodies.
The shop is turning 30 this year! What do you hope to see from the shop in the future?
Continued reliable service and good communication!
