Today is World Book Day! This 2026 event is part of the National Year of Reading, aiming to make reading for pleasure a habit, for children, young people, and adults!
We’re pleased to offer a range of books in our shop. Many of the books in our store are dyslexia-focused, inspiring you as an educator or a professional, to better understand the needs of your learners and support them.
Why not choose a new favourite book this day?
Some of our favourites
We really like the Dyslexia Club, a book which introduces the reader to a group of dyslexic children, who talk about their lives, what their schooldays look like, and what they are great at!
This book is fantastic for inspiring young readers how they can help themselves and how adults can help them. You might recognise some of the strengths of the children as also being some of your own strengths, like storytelling, helping others, art, and much more!
There’s also guidance for parents and teachers, with advice on how they can support children with suspected or diagnosed dyslexia, along with signposts to further resources and bonus content.

We also really like Black, Brilliant and Dyslexic, a raw, honest and enlightening collection of experiences across the black and dyslexic community.
This gives an intersectional perspective on topics such as the education system, the workplace, daily life and entrepreneurship, charting journeys from early childhood to adulthood, and celebrating how dyslexic black people of all ages are changing the world.
The contributors share how they tackled their unique adversities and provide practical tips for others to live proudly at the intersection of blackness and dyslexia.

So if you’re looking for a new favourite book or something to inspire your learners, then take a look at our carefully curated range to make your pick!
